The research team was first formed in 1997. Initially, we were a subsidiary of TA Millard, a respected and longtime structural consulting company based in East Anglia. Thanks to years of filming, Millard decided to separate the filming department. This was a decision to investigate.
The research team was first formed in 1997. Initially, we were a subsidiary of TA Millard, a respected and longtime structural consulting company based in East Anglia. Thanks to years of filming, Millard decided to separate the filming department. This was a decision to investigate.
In 2004, the company moved to an independent business following a management buy-out. The business enjoyed a strong start with its surveying team doubling in numbers to meet the demand for its service.
Soonafter, the challenge of the global recession hit and whilst the business faced some uncertain trading conditions, it was supported by the introduction of its underground surveying division. It has always been part of the Survey Solutions ethos to look at evolving its service offer and this proved to be a key part of the company’s future development.
As the construction markets returned, the business continued to grow and by 2016 the team headcount stood at 70 – five times the number from ten years before.
The start of 2018 saw another important development with the addition of the site engineering division. This new service allowed the company to offer a ‘start to finish’ solution to its clients across the UK. Shortly following this, the Glasgow office was opened as the company continued its UK expansion plans.
